Julius attempts to retrieve the Star Pendant. Darkness
encompasses the Gatekeeper in an eternal durance vile.
Occasionally, human nature’s hunger for knowledge, research,
experiment, development and progress must precede, crossing ethical and moral
boundaries in the process, to the detriment of some, in the name of health,
prosperity, empowerment and the greater good. Power, fame and financial gains
being accidental and trivial by-products.
I made a drawing - graphite pencil on paper - "The Star Pendant". 42 x 59,4 cm - 16,5 x 23,3 Inches. No AI, only HI. My personal IP - TTVOR / The Thin Veil of Reality - All Rights Reserved.
When I was Beta Testing ZBrush 4R4, I created the basic zippers that ship with ZBrush.
Now, you can unlock their full potential and expand with new models using the Pro package:
-apply
a variety of zippers, zippertape and borders in one go: 4 different
zipper types each with 6 different border types and 5 position/subtype
iterations, fast and logically accessible through 24 IMM brushes.
-Borders and zippertape are automatically UVd.
-Includes the coil and reverse coil zipper brushes.
-Allows the application of closed, open, semi-open, sleeve/boot and pocket zipper position/subtype iterations.
-a Variety of UVd stiches with a two click placement system.
A few of my digital sculpts made it into the physical world. This would
not have been possible without the help of my good friend Mitchell
Bring. We have been friends for many years and I’ve had the pleasure of
working with him on quite a few projects, bringing some of my ZBrush
sculpts into the real world.

As usual, the Pixologic booth at the LA Siggraph conference was packed. Speakers included Brian Wynia, Danny Williams, Scott Spencer, Joseph Drust, Cesar Dacol Jr., Michael Pavlovich, Kurt Papstein, Frank Gravat, Martin Murphy and Kris Costa.
So, needless to say, it was awesome to see Pixologic's Paul Gaboury announce my "Etcher IMM Zipper Pack"!
While Betatesting ZBrush 4R4, I created two 3d Zipperbrushes that ship with ZBrush. Give'em a try, you might like'em :) Credit goes to Pixologic's Paul Gaboury whose advice and suggestions made the brushes the best they can be!
It's awesome to see my jacket sculpt and zipper brushes on Pixologic's website - Thank you Pixologic!

My thread includes a Dynamesh tip and a tutorial on creating 3d Fabric (chainmail, cloth) with the new Noisemaker. I added a step by step on how to create a tileable chainmail alpha entirely within ZBrush and Photoshop and step by step on how to use transparency with NoiseMaker.
If you live in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, you might want to check out the july / august issue (04/11) of Digital Production Magazine. It contains 21 pages of ZBrush related articles by Scott Eaton, Klaus Jaworski, Henning Kleist and myself.
My contribution consists of an in depth look at ZBrush 4’s new features and how I use them to create weaponry for my TTVOR characters. Subscribers have acces to movies showing the entire workflow, reference sheets, .Ztl files and custom alphas.
With the launch of ZBrush 4, the Betatester's threads went live on ZBrush Central. My thread contains a new functions implementation overview, a Shadowbox quickstart guide and 10 new Etcher_Sketcher sheets on the creation of a new Thin Veil of Reality character, using Z4.
It is so humbling and exciting to see my worx alongside those of great artists!
Christmas came early this year. I was both honoured and humbled to see my thread get Top Row at ZBrush Central. I got so many nice and very motivating comments from fellow ZBrush artists!!!
